On October 31, the Tashkent House of Photography opened an exhibition of interns from the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan — Jahongir Abdullaev, Timur Lashchonov, Zuhriddin Kiyomov, and Bobur Vakobjanov — titled "Mountains That Unite Us."

Currently, the participants of the exhibition are undergoing internships in the research department of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. Jahongir Abdullaev is training in the workshop of Academician B. Jalalov; Timur Lashchonov and Zuhriddin Kiyomov are interning under Academician F. Akhmadaliev; and Bobur Vakobjanov is studying with Academician M. Tashmuradov.

The works presented at the exhibition were created by the artists during an open-air painting session at the international festival "Sunny Palette of the East," which took place in Kyrgyzstan in the summer of 2024.

The unified theme dedicated to the mountains of Kyrgyzstan leaves a strong impression. Each artist endeavored to convey the monumentality, beauty, and spirit of the Kyrgyz mountain landscape through their unique vision, crafting an artistic image. Based on the exhibited works, one can conclude that during the "Sunny Palette of the East" festival, the artists experienced a powerful emotional surge, which is evident in their creations. Each artist’s work stood out distinctly in style and compositional approach, enriching the overall exhibition, which was maintained at a high standard.

However, certain aspects are worth noting. In Zuhriddin Kiyomov's works, excessive detailing in certain fragments disrupts the color unity, adding an overly sweet tone. Nevertheless, in the triptych "Naryn," the side paintings were done with light brushstrokes, using texture as the primary background. This approach helped to avoid the aforementioned effect and added harmony to the works.

Overall, the exhibition "Mountains That Unite Us" showcases the unique perspectives of young artists on the grandeur and beauty of Kyrgyzstan's mountains, creating a harmonious blend of styles and techniques. Each participant brought forth their understanding of the natural landscape, imparting an individual creative impulse gained in the open air. Despite certain stylistic nuances, the diversity of approaches only enhances the impression of the exhibition, emphasizing cultural and artistic unity. The exhibition achieved its goal, reminding viewers of the power of nature and how art can unite through shared experiences and emotions.
