On January 23, an exhibition of graphic art works from the collection of UzNationalBank JSC opened at the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan. The exhibition features works by artists from CIS countries, created using techniques such as etching, linocut and lithography.
Among the authors whose works are on display are prominent masters who have left a significant mark on art: G. Tsereteli (Georgia), A. Guseynov (Azerbaijan), R. Azimov (Tajikistan), A. Petrov and V. Ivanov (Russia), as well as K.Basharov, I. Vokhitov, M. Kagarov, A. Mamajonov, and M. Sadykov (Uzbekistan). Kazakhstan is represented by works of A. Yubeysembinov and D. Zulfukarova.
The exhibition covers the period of the 1970s–1980s, with its main goal being to showcase how artists of that time interpreted the surrounding reality through the lens of graphic art.
The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by master classes conducted by academician A. Mamajonov and renowned artists E. Pak and D. Tukhtakulov.
Each piece is a reflection of cultural heritage, uniting the philosophy and aesthetics of the past and present while impressing with its professionalism.
